Towton Battlefield Event (April 1st, 2012) & News

<< Reminder for all around and near Towton >>

1st of April, on Palm-Sunday like the event in the year 1461 itself, the event organized by the Towton Battlefield Society commemorates this fateful battle between the Yorkists and Lancastrians.

The Towton Battlefield Society, presented here in this article on the KRA-website, prepared lots of activities for the whole family.

Hopefully the weather for the event will not match the one 551 years ago and we wish all participants a wonderful and enjoyable re-enactment of the Medieval times and this memorable battle.
